DANCECOREO
INTERNATIONAL

All styles are welcome!

Lizt Alfonso is proud to present DANCECOREO International Choreographic Contest, an online event for artistic dance creations. Applications for the 2021 competition will be open from May 3rd to 31st. The closing ceremony will take place during the second week of June with the awards ceremony.

The event is presented in collaboration with important international dance institutions. It builds on the experience of 20 previous editions of the Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba Choreographic Contest and is the only one of its kind on the island to promote choreographic creation by its participants, both professional and amateur. This rendition of the competition, by moving from the spatial to the virtual, offers a format embracing the online universe.

As in the case of previous editions of the Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba Choreographic Contest, participation will enhance the training and professional future of participating artists, giving them the opportunity to make their work visible and to share creative experiences with LADC and the LADC School as well as with other international dance institutions participating in this initiative.

…………

DANCECOREO International invites all creators, artists, and art students (especially in the dance area), as well as any person with creative and choreographic desires, from age 7 onward.

All of the submitted pieces will receive a score from the jury, according to which they will be placed within the 1st, 2nd, 3rd place or Honorable Mentions. Thus, all contestants will receive awards.
